3.25 HP Porter Cable

Porter Cable routers are the workhorses of the industry. They are very dependable, long lasting and are inexpensive to rebuild. Collets are available in 1/4", 3/8" or 1/2" sizes. These routers offer an adequate amount of power but produce a rather high noise level. For improved edge finish and lower noise levels, you may want to consider one of our alternative spindles.

7HP Perske

Perske spindles are industrial quality, German precision built routers that come with a variable frequency electronic drive. They offer a better cut quality than standard routers because they don't lose RPM under load and incorporate a much higher quality bearing set than the standard router. The 3Hp, 5.5Hp and 7.5 Hp models are available for the ShopCAM computerized router tables. A Perske requires 220 volt single phase or 3 phase power.

7HP Colombo

We also offer the Colombo high frequency spindle as an option. Costing slightly more than the Perske, the Colombo is Italian precision at its best. Either spindle would be an excellent addition to your ShopCAM CNC router table. Like the Perske, this spindle is supplied with a variable frequency electronic drive which give the operator complete spindle RPM control via software. A Colombo requires 220 volt single phase or 3 phase power.

AC Tech Inverter

Designed for typical constant torque applications where motor speed is controlled from the software, the drive keypad, a 0-10vdc or 4-20ma control signal, or a standard potentiometer. The M1000 series provides bi-directional control of the motor over a range of 0 to 120Hz. High speed operation up to 1000Hz is optional.
